QuantaCloud instances run in datacenters in the United States. The region determines the physical location of your instance, which affects latency and data residency.

Available regions

The region of each offer is shown in the marketplace and on the deploy page. GPU selection and availability vary by region: a given model may be in stock in one datacenter and sold out in another.

Filtering by region

In the Compute Marketplace, use the Region filter to narrow offers to specific datacenters. The filter shows how many offers are available in each.

Choosing the right region

Pick a region close to:
  • Your location — For interactive SSH sessions and browser apps like JupyterLab
  • Your data sources — For faster data transfer during training
  • Your users — If serving inference endpoints
If latency isn’t critical and you want the best price, sort the marketplace by price without a region filter. The cheapest GPU is often in whichever region has the most supply.

Data residency

Your instance exists physically in the region you selected. When a deployment is stopped, the instance disk is not retained. Need a specific region, or capacity outside the United States? Ask about reserved and dedicated capacity.
